There are three things to do before Broker Intelligence can do anything useful: fill in your profile, connect the accounts you already use, and add your clients. Joe walks through all of it below. About ten minutes, start to finish.
Your first sign-in walks you through this — a guided setup collects everything below, because until it has these answers the briefing has nothing to work from. To change any of it later, it all lives under Profile in the left column — which is where the video walks the same fields.
Note: there's a field for your MLS region and ID, but Broker Intelligence doesn't talk to the MLS directly yet. Fill it in anyway — it's there for when that arrives.
This is the step people skip, and it's the reason most agents don't get full value. Everything the system knows about your relationships comes from here. All three connections live on the Profile page.
Go to Pipeline in the left column, then New client. If you connected SkySlope in step two, your active transaction clients are already there — this is for everyone else. Working from a spreadsheet? Import Contacts on the Pipeline page brings them in from a CSV.
This is the point where the briefing stops being empty. It starts surfacing who's gone quiet, which files have deadlines coming, and what's worth doing first.
None of this is required on day one. It's here when you want it.
